Baruch's involvement in the entertainment industry began in Israel where he was chief animator, and art director at the Tyrex multimedia corporation. He oversaw development of multiple award-winning educational and entertaining titles, including THE KING'S SECRET which has been translated into more than 8 languages. As a creative consultant for one of Israel's leading post production houses, Gravity Post Production, Baruch helped develop cutting edge digital effects and animation for a variety of projects.

In 2001, Baruch graduated from the world famous art and design institute, Art Center College of Design, with distinction and was recognized for his artistic achievements. His thesis project - a visionary re-interpretation of the classic children's novel THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS attracted Disney’s attention, beginning his creative partnership with the company. Baruch's entirely re-envisioned characters, created dramatic landscapes, and his innovative treatment was the genesis of the CG feature, with a budget of over $120 million, which is now set up with FOX 2000.
